Beyond Redemption

Archdoom

The darkness falls, the world is gone,

Our hubris sealed the planet's fate.

Our dreams destroyed, forever done,

A world consumed by endless hate.

We thought we held the world in hand,

Our arrogance beyond compare.

We scorched the sky, destroyed the land,

Our souls consumed by greed and scare.

The wars we waged, the lives we took,

A legacy of endless shame.

Our moral compass, long forsook,

A world consumed by endless flame.

The seas are dead, the forests gone,

Our home a barren, lifeless hell.

Our conscience shattered, morality none,

A world consumed by endless spell.

The stars are gone, the night is deep,

Our sins have brought eternal blight.

Our souls forever doomed to weep,

A world consumed by endless fight.

The fault is ours, we can't escape,

Our choices led us to this fate.

Our tears won't heal the endless ache,

A world consumed by endless hate.

And so we face the endless night,

A price too high, too much to bear.

Our prayers are useless, there's no light,

A world consumed by endless scare.

The last breaths taken, the end is nigh,

Our reckoning, too late to spare.

We'll forever mourn, we'll forever cry,

A world consumed by endless despair.
