Big rock in space

Mello

The moon, she rises high above,

A shining orb of mystic love.

Her light casts shadows on the ground,

And changes people all around.

As she waxes to her fullest form,

People's emotions start to swarm.

Their energy is wild and free,

Like waves that crash upon the sea.

But as she wanes and starts to fade,

People's moods begin to shade.

Their tempers simmer and they brood,

Like clouds that block the sun's warm mood.

The moon's cycle, a cosmic dance,

Affecting us with every chance.

It pulls us in and sets us free,

A force of nature, for all to see.

So watch her rise and watch her fall,

And heed the moon's celestial call.

For in her cycle, we can find,

A deeper understanding of the mind.

I absolutely love this piece, I'm in awe. I think the moon is magical and not a night passes that I don't look at it and admire its beauty, your words captured its true essence, i haven't read a more beautifully written poem about the moon
