A Garden Visit

kaw316

I came by your garden today

As I was just passing through

I came by today, just to see you

I could talk for hours

Right here in this place

It feels great, just to see you

To laugh and cry as I sit here with you

All the great memories of me and you

It’s been such a pleasure, just to see you

I am sorry that I must now part

The time flew by as we sat here to talk

I shall return, just to see you

You will know the time

And you will know the place

I will always be there, just to see You!

  • Comment from author about the poem: It is a poem of a memory coming to you of someone who is no longer with you. That memory is just comes to you out of no where. That moment that you feel like they are there and you are sharing that memory with them as if they were standing or sitting there with you.
