Salt River Settlement

Norman Flagtea

there were 6 or 8 log cabins

at the end

of a narrow dirt road

and the remains

of an old bunk house

across the river

the quarters of loggers and raftsmen.

It's not in me

to tell you

what it looks like today

with all that fracking.
