Rising up from the ashes, a demon cloaked
In every heart, terror invoked
Look into his eyes, stop dead in your tracks
Pray to the heavens, hope God watches your back
Fiery eyes, burning blaze
Mind as twisted as a maze
Dark crown, Obsidian adorned
Mind of evil re spawned
Thunder rumbles in his wake
Souls of the dammed he will take
Hope you never cross his path
Or you shall drown in a blood bath
A beast in his belly, vicious and cruel
A sorrow plea for his opponents in a duel
His core black as night
Full of hate, fury and spite
With his every step the ground shakes
All the rules of the world he makes
Father of evil, mother of lies
Emperor of terror, one whom Gods despise
But his power, known across the land
Made mankind want his reign in hand
In secret, the people conspired
Of this chaos all were tried
The people pleaded. Gods took no heed
They would not move till the crown decreed
Then happened, unthinkable task
The princess’s soul in forever moonlight bask
The throne of prestige, filled with rage
To hunt him down went on a rampage
They met, they fought
With no heed for lives lost
The battle carried on for ages unknown
No sooner had calamity sown
When a hero emerged, a spear of flame
Piercing the heinous heart, evil tame
The people rejoiced, shadows gone
Sculpture constructed, jewels adorn
A few were wary, the wise ones
For when the next age of darkness comes
The hero was memorialized, he was praised
To his name toasts were raised
The king of fear was finally dead
The hero is stronger than the Gods they said
The Gods began to resent, full of envy
Plotting a conspiracy, elite were privy
Deceiving smiles, called him to dine
Unbeknownst to him, poisoned his wine
Saved by a kindly healers touch
Fury clouded his mind a bit too much
He called ancient power lost
Destroyed the heavens, with a great cost
Chaos reigned, evil rampant
Pure heart, once abundant now scant
Oh! The cost of jealousy
Mortal realm now a catastrophe
