Don't play with me

VenneKing

Something there is

Between us

Even when everything is over

Something is still left

Believe me when I say it

I try

I try very hard

To not think of you

But still

End up mentally

Talking to you

No love nor hate

Just emptiness

When I think of you

What is it?

I don't know

I truly don't

All efforts in vain

When I see your face

With those stunning eyes

With those ramparts of hair

On your forehead

All coldness is washed

All hate is gone

I don't know how to curb it

I'm in a dilemma now

What to do?

Oh lord! Help me!

Someone gimme a piece of mind

To fight it

To understand it

What happened

And why is it so?

You and only you can answer my query

I'm distressed

Moreover possessed

By your voice

By your face

With those brown eyes

Captivating me

Oh my! How and why you so spellbinding?

That all my efforts in vain

When you take my name

More perplexity

Overwhelms me

Urges me to ask you

Why you doing so?

Are you too not over me?

But in past, you've made it clear

That you want nothing to do with me

Then why such uncanny

Why such confusion

To pop into my mind

Can't you just tell me

A hollowness

A feeling of being empty

Superimposes itself

Over my sanity

All efforts in vain

With just a letter of your

Royal name

Can you be less eccentric

You've changed me entirely

Just stop it now

I don't want you

I've made peace with it

But somewhere in my heart

It still desires you

Longs for you

To listen me

To understand me

To caress me

Do not give me false hopes

I'm tired of it

If you can't fulfill 'em

Just don't talk to me

I've lived it once

Succumbing to you wholeheartedly

But left with defeat

I'm scared of again falling for it

Is it a trap

To entangle me?
