Life the wicked one?

_m_ostwanted

Can I call life the wicked one,

Or the souls that dwell therein??

Should I blame it all on karma,

Or call it a twisted fate??

As I find it funny when the ones

We love never loves us back

Can I blame it on

Not loving the ones that love us,

Or I say we don't always get what we want??

Expectation they say is the root of all heartaches

So expecting to be loved same as we share

Is what breaks our hearts

And not really the way they feel about us.

It makes us question our worth

Though we know we deserve better.

Train your heart to accept disappointment

Especially from the ones you love

For the patience of the heart is beyond what we know,

It breaks, it flutters, but it won't stop loving

Now, I can say life is not the wicked one

For it teaches what we don't know

But the souls that dwell with us

I call the wicked ones

For it amuses me how fast people can change

And how easy it is for them to forget sacrifices

So I'd call them the wicked ones.

Maybe karma is a law no man can escape

For we love not the ones who hold us dear

And hold on to the ones who treat us bad

Thinking they'd realize our love for them someday

And they'd change their ways and love us back

Just as much as we love them

For we accept whatever we get from them

Regardless of how we feel.

The fate is not twisted but our emotions are

For we deserve to be loved and cherished

And not almost loved or almost cherished

In spite of it, I hope that

You remember what you deserve

When you're chasing what you want.
