Nallie

Eravaash

Another greyscaled day where I'm missing you
Heart grows heavy, through and through
But one day I will see you again
My golden furry friend
Oh, the jolly

I hope that vibrant road ahead remains true
When I'm walking its path to reach you
And one day I will see you again
My golden dearest friend
My Nallie

  • Comment from author about the poem: Every time I look at your little wooden box that contains your ashes, I can\\\'t help but think about all the times I\\\'ve had with you, the moments I wish I could relive and the seconds extra I yearn to have with you. Life can prepare you for the inevitable, but nothing can even touch on the emptiness and regret that comes with losing someone as precious and dear as a friend and family member. I can\\\'t believe its been going on to a year and a half since you passed. Feels like yesterday since you left us.\r\nI hope you still visit, old girl. Life isnt the same without you. And should you come visit, my bed will always be open for you to lay down on. I can even help you back on there, like I used to do. Like old times.\r\nI miss you. I miss you so much. I love you, Nallie. Rest easy, girl.
