Mother

Jarrod A. Freeman

Life is a gift, so cheerish it.

Like the cool warm hug of your mother's ever loving arms

She Keeps the monsters in your room at bay.

Oooooh mum I love you,

Oooooh mum, thanks for keeping me from harm.

...

Who said that we are turning away,

Who said life was all black Gray?

Oooh why can't I see the demons following me?

Cos my mum's living arms keep them at bay.

...

Ooooooh mum, I absolutely love you

Oooooh mum, the warm hug keeps me alive everyday.

...

What happened to that smile that I used to wear she'd say,

I said cos I got older and left away,

She said come over you're not a stray.

I said I would if I could mum but you passed away

...

You only have one mom,

So love her warm open arms,

She should be all you need,

Mum I love you,

And you are not too far,

Away from me.
