Greenhouse Childhood

arobot

Greenhouse childhood

For the kindergarten to be safe and sound

The kids are secluded in from sandy ground

Floors are blanketed with synthetic resin foam

And ceilings, instead of heaven,a polythene dome

As to keep flowers from rain and sun and decay

May plastic petals last forever with no dismay

Pity the city kids who never roam

Hills and leas, vales and seas in childhood

Like domesticated species, stay put at home

Study and study dully into dull adulthood

Solid message I like. Sooner or later those fragile beings surely must get out into a real world experience........... But perhaps they won't?
