The heart and mind always in conflict
emotional on the on side, rational on the other.
A well known ending easy to predict
or an invincible friendship to last forever?
Ears, nose, eyes and skin
hearing, smelling, seeing and touching,
Serving a single will or rather self-ruling.
Too much to devour for a mortals throat
like entering a storm without a compass on a boat.
Lost in the ocean with no land in sight
thrown off board like an outcast man.
Heart and mind still busy in a fight
a journey that ends before it even began
Or together facing every obstacle, every trap
3 Musketeers not needed, these 2 will do,
like matching halves of a now complete map
clearing the clouds for a sky deep blue
Out on a voyage relentlessly long,
which force can stop a friendship so strong?
