Judas's Kiss

PurpleGlasses

The betrayed heart,

It knows the way,

Of past traumas,

It leads away,

The wounds of old,

Reminder of pain,

Surrounds the heart,

Like bloodless veins

A beautiful stain

A pattern of sort

It tells a story

A story of not

Of not to try,

Of not to be tempted

Broken promises

Given empty handed

The heart tried to taste

In the days of past

A fruit of value

The fruit of trust

Bittersour fruit

Given rotten

Cold embrace

Of the broken and forgotten
