My silence

My silence is no more,

That's what God broke me free for,

He gave me the ability to speak from my heart,

Now that I'm here,I have been able to do that,

My silence was killing me inside,

But I was patient and allowed the time to go by,

By doing what I was told,saying what I had to,

Just to get along and get through,

40 years is a long time to feel like this,

But God made a way for me to push through and make me His,

Everything that happened was for a reason,and I will never regret a thing,

Because it made me who I am today,
