SZERETLEK CHRISTINA

nephilim56 ( Norman Dickson)

A poet waits patiently
As the cold night it bites
By the Danubius fountain
In Engels Square at midnight.

Only the stars
Observing from high
Give a faint glittering light
From their perch in the sky.

Christina, Christina ...
Bring your heart to me
For my fingers are frozen
My words I cant see.

The angels that sit
About fountains rim
Give smiles of approval
As she rushes to him.
