Gone now.

The Disconnected Philosopher

To see the flowers blossom

With nothing to stop them

And to see you wither and die

apart from my clutch

Watching the seasons pass by

is the saddest reality I've touched

A glimpse away

and you're swept off the face of the earth

You were my princess, I, the prince today

but your presence left at my expense without you determining your worth

Our connection to fade

into the abysmal void

of what was once my happiness

Your blessing's my rage

A sinful choice

Because you're gone now and the pain I try to trap within

Becomes my demise for the end of my time.
