“One, two, three
Four, five, six
Seven, eight, and nine
Ten, eleven, twelve
Thirteen, fourteen, fifteen
Sixteen, seventeen, eighteen
Nineteen, twenty-three,
Forty, fifty, sixty
Seventy, eighty, ninety
Hundred and hundred one
Any age is taken by racism.
Racism dead
Long live racist deaths.
Slavery dead
Long live the slave’s death.
Colonialism dead
Long live colonies deaths.
Slave-masters gone
Police masters came
Lynching gone
Shootings came
Totalitarian gone
Democracy came
But black lives are taken by them.
Across time and space”

- Comment from author about the poem: The 365-Day Human Rights Campaign (HRC), the LGBTQ Campaign, and the Anti-Death Penalty Campaign are all dedicated to the fallen African angel, โค๏ธ ๐งก ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐ค Alonzo Bagley โ 43 โค๏ธ ๐งก ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐ค who was killed by the white police in the United States of America on Friday, February 3, 2023. This is white America. Can we have a transgender woman as the next Secretary-General of UNO? Can we have a transgender woman as the next Director-General of WHO? โค๏ธ ๐งก ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐ค Dr. Suryaraju Mattimalla โค๏ธ ๐งก ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐ค.
