In the Time it Takes to Say Goodbye

Neville

In the Time it Takes to Say Goodbye

In the time it takes

to breathe a sigh

In the time it takes

to close both eyes

In the time it takes

to draw a breath

In the time it takes

to get undressed

In the time it takes

a clock to stop

In the time it takes

to pick a lock

In the time it takes

to kiss her breasts

in the time it takes

to lift her dress

In the time it takes

to form a smile

in the time it takes

to wait a while

In the time it takes

to make a wish

in the time it takes

to blow a kiss

In the time it takes

to wonder why

is the time it takes

to say goodbye

Erm, if 'goodbye' is the hardest word, I will say 'hello' to ya! lol.
    I've swooned now - stanza 4. heehee.

if stanza 4 turned you on that much Mr. O then maybe I should pen something that would either make your fur fall out, or put you in a coma .. 🐭😎🐭🦨🐧

Am glad the time it took to note the lilt in this lively ode giving me another view of crafted rhyming. Quietly insightful this piece of gentle erotica Nev.....x

            I fear, Hyung
            few
            will realise the depths
            of yearning, hidden
            in this most, affecting
            work, their loss..
            thank you!
such a tender poem n wording of ache
'the fifty shades of sincerity's, poetic angst'
            (in Time
            aching, wondrous memories
all that we'll have left, while
            it Takes
poetic bravery, to word our discontent
            to this distortion of sensation;
            our heart's, convinced
            we're but days removed from
            that idyllic, scene
            until, an untimely mirror
reminds us, its all a past
            we can hardly picture...)

            • Neville

it seems you can still see write through me .. thanks brother Mek and ever so truly

Love this one, course Im a sucker for rhymes.. Heartfelt sentiments,

                for time passes so quickly
When I’m staring in your eyes
                Just like a magician,
                The minutes quickly go by
                A quick caress and touch
Then it’s time to say goodbye

                • Neville
