I Write….

Some write as a hobby
Some write for money
Some write for fame
I write because it’s a way of life
I journal my journey I put my life on the line
If you want to read further then just read in between the lines
This is poetry this isn’t a rap
And if I did spit just know it would be a wrap
I’m not talking cold cuts but sometimes my blood can be colder than cold cuts
But I just sandwich these lines
Some provide quantity over quality when they write lines
There’s Quality Inn my lines so just take shelter
There are poets that use the shotgun effect just trying to hit anything
But I’m accurate I aim for the heart
Like I aim for the vag I’m just trying to penetrate
I could take a whole year off then come back to writing and it would still feel like I never left
Nas only needed one mic
All I need is one verse
