Love's an Obsession

The Disconnected Philosopher

Shackled by Truth

Bounded by lies

Love's an obsession

Attachment misused

Where deception resides

She's a mermaid in the forest

And him her captor

I have the key yet I have no idea where the door is

All in bitterness, hearing her laughter

In vain I reach for the stars

Just to miss my target

My arrow goes the farthest

But wherever you are

I'll never be able to retrieve

You because I am not yours

In bliss shall I leave

Or in fluxation shall I weep

For love is an obsession

and I am not yours to keep
