Being a Girl

Mashleyyy

Is being a girl, just a loss?

They keep telling you who's the boss.

No one wants to hear what you say,

They don't let you do what you may.

Are not your hands to show your strength?

Are not your legs to cross marked length?

Let now you're strained mind but be trained,

To work your will, till your goal's gained!

Being a girl feels just so blessed,

Though such feelings are kept suppressed

Though you just talked, just walked, just tamed,

You're gamed, you're blamed, you're judged, you're shamed.

Why accept threats and violence,

Absorb false guilt with mute silence,

Patiently bear intolerance,

Why keep mum, not use those sense?

Oh girls! You have battled so much.

You shout aloud, stand up and clutch

Break grounds, shake world's, with just a touch

Raise your head, March, without a clutch.

Oh girls! you have been through it all.

Let not your strength, your courage fall.

Your will- power will let you fight,

Oh Girls! You've unstoppable might
