the pain of standing on the sidelines
waitng despretially waiting
for your turn to be hopelessly in love
its hard for you too look at him
sitting there all perfect
wishing he would look at you and think the same
you long to feel the softness of his gaze
to feel the warmth in his voice
to be hugged by him and know he cared
its pathetic of you
never being in relationships too long
because they were never him
he was all you wanted
he was all you thought of in the late night
you cried at the thought hed never be yours
you were slowly being replaced
you wish you never met him
so you didnt have to watch him drift away
you dont know who you are without him
hes your everything
even if its just platonic
god you just wished he loved you
you wish he thought of you late at night
you wish he needed you as much as you needed him
the woes of being a hopeless romantic
what you want is always just out of reach
you wont ever be hopelessly in love
waitng despretially waiting
for your turn to be hopelessly in love
its hard for you too look at him
sitting there all perfect
wishing he would look at you and think the same
you long to feel the softness of his gaze
to feel the warmth in his voice
to be hugged by him and know he cared
its pathetic of you
never being in relationships too long
because they were never him
he was all you wanted
he was all you thought of in the late night
you cried at the thought hed never be yours
you were slowly being replaced
you wish you never met him
so you didnt have to watch him drift away
you dont know who you are without him
hes your everything
even if its just platonic
god you just wished he loved you
you wish he thought of you late at night
you wish he needed you as much as you needed him
the woes of being a hopeless romantic
what you want is always just out of reach
you wont ever be hopelessly in love
