Daytime Driving

thedreamingwoman

Daytime Driving

miles we go

but one of us is dying

Baby it's me

baby I'm wildin'

fighting a battle

against my mind and me

Wind whips in my hair

I feel the sun beam

There's no getting rid of me

I'm in the air

think of me

when you're putting on sunscreen

that's me in the sky

do you feel my energy?

Daytime Driving

there's no need for hiding

blindspotting

chemicals

we're falling

breakeven

you're charming

I remember the first time

you hurt me

got mad at me

for telling you off

now I pretend it's my fault

for the way we fought

Clouds I cry

Rain fall like tears

Salt on my tongue

I fear

I'll say something wrong

when I speak.

(Behind the wheel

you killed me

with that illegal

U-turn

Don't you see

your pride

is your guilty pleasure

stop with the allegations

Allegedly

it's radiating under my skin aggravating it seems irritating it feels

I reel you in but you pull from to

Sabrina Carpenter

playing on my

radio station

I hence every word she's saying

feeling inspiration

I pull out paper from my glove compartment

and start writing....

THERES NOTHING LEFT TO DECODE

the end. )
