Almost a grip

schifamba

Almost a grip

Is not a farmer’s reap

A life with no tip

Is not quite a good keep

Growing up old

Facing stories untold

As it unfolds

Grab it tight it is gold

Now the wiseman is old

Just as the wisdom he told

Giving guidance

We cannot just let go

Step by step like so

Till we get our goal

Even if we seem to fail

I am sure we’re not the tail.
