It’s just a bad day

It’s just a bad week

And then suddenly I become

Broken and weak

The pain is inside me

I keep it that way

Because exposing the truth

Will ruin everybody’s day

I wish somebody knew how I really felt

The amount of nights I spent painfully crying

The true reason for marks on my body

And the countless thoughts I have about dying

I hide my emotions beneath my skin

I’ll tell everyone that “I’m fine, don’t worry”

I’m trying my best - I promise you that

But if I ever lose my battle, just know that I’m sorry.
