I Miss You

GentlemanJim

Silence,

The house is full of silence,

Silence

In every niche,

In every corner,

Silence

I hear no noise,

Devoid of sound,

As silence put’s her cloak around.

The tears they soundlessly fall to ground.

Just yesterday,

T’was full of noise,

Radio played its songs of choice,

Washing machine spun its hum,

As conversation reached a lull,

The TV played,

A tap was run,

Doors were open to let in sun,

And a new conversation begun

Stinging tears of memories to fall,

Silence

This house was shared,

Alas no more

And silent tears

Continue to fall
