sitting on her bed at 9pm

swagpillows

sitting on her bed at 9pm
her fingers danced across the keys
the clicks drowning out the rest of the world

thats then when she feels it
the slight prick of water in her eye
a second where her lungs stop working

it might as well be torture
as she sits in the limbo
between crying and smiling

more then anything it hurts
her chest rises and falls painfully
as if a rock sits on top of it

its a fight now
between her and her brain
she struggles to keep herself under control

struggles to keep her emotions at bay
theres no surprise when she fails
soft warm tears cling to her eyelashes

slipping slowly down her cheeks
stinging her eyes as more flowed
dropping down on to the dimly lit keyboard

and thats where everything snapped
quiet tears turned into gut-wrenching screams
light rain turned into a thunderstorm

sobs shuddered down her body
shaking her to her core
everything had lost reason

her eyes closed as she rocked her body
back and forth back and forth
she sat choking down sobs

she was on the floor, it was 10pm
her keyboard sat abandoned
and she was screaming
