Stay a while

E Naughton

Would you stay a while and listen

I may have found a key

A key to life behind ones eyes

No need of vanity

Would you stay a while and take a breath

Tell me what you feel

Notice scents upon the air

Your hairs among the breeze

The pull of earth beneath your feet

As you rise above the trees

 Unprompted thoughts like barking dogs

Accepting all life brings

a beautiful ode, to those gifted glimpses
    of nature's soothing wonders
    thanks for sharing, wonderful tonality
