_Anonymous_

she screams while he drags her across the hard floor,

she beats her hands against his arms and kicks her legs hoping to break free,

but he only holds on tighter,

a piercing pain to her arm that is now red from his grip.

she can't escape him and she knows this,

but she still fights because she doesn't believe in giving up,

she is afraid but fierce when he finally stops pulling her,

she sits up straight now, heavily breathing.

the man sits against the basement wall, watching her eyes fill with tears,

he smiles, and the grin on his face strikes her as disturbing,

he knows she's afraid, so he stands up,

grabbing the baseball bat with stained blood on the metal surface.
