Where do I belong?

vaal khing

Where do I belong?

In a noisy room full of laughter,

Ladies discussing their dreams,

Men bragging their achievements,

Everyone is genuinely happy,

But only I fake a smile.

Where do i belong?

Outside where birds chirp,

Wind blows and water flows,

Children play under the sun,

The weather looks calm,

But only I look pitiful.

Where do I belong?

Locked in my house,

No human around,

Under my blanket,

With my teary eyes,

And caged thoughts,

Is this where I belong?
