every single morning
as I bow my head to pray,
I thank the Lord
for love
for life
& for another day
I ask for an abundance of strength & patience
to carry me on my way
I pray His safe embrace is a home for those I love to stay
but as I bow my head today,
I pray for something new
I pray to God my heart will never break again for you
please know deep down,
I’ll always love you,
because love is what I do
but I fear I won’t have enough love left for me,
if I give all my loving to you
