Beautiful Lies

Malayzia

It all started with hello.

Your voice was so beautifully melodic; naturally mellow.

A Good Morning and Good Night text everyday, we never missed a beat.

From that moment on, I never knew beautiful lies sounded so sweet.

I started noticing red flags but -- chose to ignore the truth … thinking you would come around, unmask yourself and love me with proof.

In too deep …

For you, I painted my own red flag with green stripes. Until one day something clicked and I went on strike!

Beautiful lies are what you told me.

Sweet dreams are what you sold me.

Nothing but the truth is what you owed me.

But I figure you too pussy to show me --

And by that … I guess you really don't know me.

In a heartbeat I told you what it was, and showed you what it is. Instead of playing kid games I made you my business --

Stamped.

Priority.

These days you can't show too much.

There's obvious favoritism.

You either get treated as a option or -- played into mosaic words of cherry pick plagiarism.

A love triangle if you catch my drift.

I simply wrote this as a love story diss.

Dismissing the fact that lies kept me whole for just a little while.

You can't play with one of God's favorites for too long without expecting a wake up call …

A blocked number you no longer could dial.

We ran our course downhill … a warranty free trial.

Not long until thoughts of you resurfaced.

Vividly remembering your kisses so soft they're like whispers.

My heart shattered like a vase.

They say time heals so the pieces can be put back into place.

Beautiful lies no longer consume me.

I refuse to fall victim to someone who intentionally misused me.

Normally I just toss in my take on a male who wronged:

in the hope the wronged woman can learn...... I don't think this necessarily applies to you - the vibe is feisty and you most certainly are not downcast!

i will be sure to check that out right now, but i thank you for that, i try to keep the feistiness going lol 😁!!
