Oh how I loved,
your beautiful white face.
I thought you had,
such a beautiful heart.
I always loved,
looking at you.
Your entire body,
was like a piece of art.
There was something about you,
that always kept, 'it', together.
You were so fine:
especially in that black leather.
You know.
The one with the gold buckle?
I thought that we,
were great together.
I knew what made you tick.
I thought that you,
would be mine forever.
(Sigh)
... but I take what I can get.
For some reason,
I lost you.
I'll never know why.
I thought that you,
would be worth it,
but no matter how much I try,
I just can't bring myself to cry.
(Sigh)
Hopefully, your on the arm,
of another good guy.
Just do me a favor,
and treat him with dignity.
... and don't just surprise him,
and leave him like you did to me.
You were a beautiful watch.

- Comment from author about the poem: This piece was meant to be humorous. At first, it seems as though I am talking about a woman, but you find out I am really talking about a watch. I hope you enjoy it. Persistence is key
