Infinite Journey

Carol D

Warm Summer Remembers
The Springs of yore
And gossips of the Autumns to come
While Winters dream
On the distant seashore
Hybernating in depths of sleep
Seconds to minutes to hours
Days to weeks to months to years
Soon spiral to decades and centuries - Millenniums!
Universal flow turning ceaselessly
Indifferent to mortal cares
Fresh innocence transforms
Into wisdom linearly lined
And Youth to Age is underscored
By experiences sublime
Weep not for bygone memories
Nor quibble the choices present
For tomorrow is yet a mystery
Steadily shaping your intent
And all the roads are infinite
