"Breathless"

KACHOW

I have a voice

But sometimes people take it away

Sometimes people silence me

In a way it's just another form of violence

So I yell into a void

Of all the things I was trying to avoid in the first place

All they do is run their mouth

Ears closed off when you start to shout

Eyes looking about the other way

And

Fingers pointing out every other day

I'm exhausted

So it seems I am breathless

Breathless I am

Breathless at every step I take

Breathless from every attempt I make

And breathless from the more time i waste

Your poem conveys a powerful message about the struggle to speak up and be heard in the face of oppression and violence. It's a reminder that we must continue to fight for our voices and never give up, even when it feels like we're running out of breath. awesome poem
