Just Breathe

Lila Latham

Breathe. Just breathe

It comes and goes in waves

But air will come to you

Take a minute,

Breathe. Just breathe

The oxygen from the trees

Floats around through the air

My lungs feel heavy like iron

I can't breathe.

Anger, sadness,

Let me breathe.

The pain is suffocating

Breathe. Just breathe.

Sometimes it's hotter than the sun

Sometimes it's colder than cold

All you need to do is,

Breath. Just breathe.

The breath can be a reminder of all the possibilities that we can encounter in the moment. Great poem
