Finite

E Naughton

Finite

Rivers before us all have a size,

A bottom to all

Do none realise?

Tremendous the growth

But not of these trees

Forgetting all those who live on their knees

Drinking so deep from finite resource

Seeing the bottom with little remorse

Wealth will protect you from being the first

But finite is finite

You'll soon feel the thirst.
