Gliding

NafisaSB

Gliding in a sea of clouds

Unending and so white

The world starts seeming hazy

Although it is so bright..

Soaring up in the sky

One feels a sense of calm

Leaving behind all sorrows

The scene is surely a balm

Every time I fly

I feel this sense of peace

The burdens fall and scatter

And I feel so much at ease

This wonder never leaves me

It charms me day and night

Its memory gives me peace

And a sense of true delight.

Even if the flight were very short one I always overwhelmed by feeling of abandoning mother earth .. I never thought of writing a poem while I'm being locked in a metal box and thrown between clouds ..
I wonder is this a poem depicting air flight or just moment of meditation.? .
(In both cases it a 👍piece)

on the contrary, if eel as if liberated from all earthly problems, and am happy to be soaring in the clouds- yes these thoughts always spring to mind, when i am on a flight, and passing through clouds - they never fail to enchant me
thanks for the feedback - have a great day
