Three Days of Darkness Blues

Since I became a bluespoet many years ago

I have deep gut feelings of what, and why things in this secular selfish world is going down don't 'ya know.

MPS doesn't allow me to share You Tube vids on this site

That are spiced with my poetic blues

Makes me bitter with a certain amount of spite.

What I'm trying to say here folks is that the messsages of Our Lady of Medjugorje

Have been shunned and ignored by the secular mass media.

We have been caught up with being "lovers of our own selves"

Trying to create our own version

Of a man-made Heaven.

...yes I am Catholic

Pleading to a generation that is self-righteous, self-centered and narcissistic.

I'm not a holy-roly hilljack preacher thumping a King James Version as such

I admit that I'm just as sinful as the next "joe bloke" bubba (pretty much)

Since I graduated from Lehman Catholic back in 1973

I have witnessed so much hypocracy.

Legalized abortion, arrogantly  justified in the name of "a woman's right to choose"

Same-sex marriages which is NOT of God (and I could go on!)

Which needless to say is the "highway to hell" blues.

I don't know what to say any more in this secularized culture
