Simplicity

Butter123

Strong and tall they stand

neath, the one that keep us sane

amidst the roses ready to pry

atbash will unveil secrets ye hide

well you must be for the

facts of life are deep and true

to see ,to know ,not but nothing

blinded you will be to see

  • Comment from author about the poem: Summary:- In the first line they symbolizes the secrets and hidden truths and the barriers that are used to protect them. The second line refers to the sun since it towers over everything and it keeps us alive. The third line says that the truth is waiting to be revealed like a nest in the bush and you just have to pry the bushes apart ,but roses have thorns which symbolize the difficulties of doing so.( I was inspired to write the first 3 lines of the poem by looking at a building covered in pink blossoms beneath the sun) Atbash is a code which shows how we use different techniques and methods to unmask the truth but the answer is usually so simple and often we overlook it. The next two lines say that the truth is deep and might be painful to hear for some people. Everyone wants to see or know the the truth it is often right under our noses but we miss it.Its literal meaning is you will see and know nothing other than nothing. The last line says that you will be consumed by the search for truth rather than the truth and you will try so hard to find it that even if it is right in front of you, you will run past it. Finally the category of the poem is life lessons I'm 11 years old when I published this so don't be hard on me just give your opinions in the comments.
