The pain is hidden behind clouds of clever, pretty words
When truth falls trembling from the sky like a stricken bird
beasts crawl from the shadow to worry at the carcass
teeth tear open the flesh to get to the tenderness inside
bones remain now soon to vanish forever forgotten
