Love, a Distraction

Love is a distraction, a sweet diversion
That pulls us from our goals and our ambition
It consumes our thoughts, it clouds our vision
And makes us forget our mission

We lose ourselves in its embrace
And forget the path we once did chase
Our focus fades, our minds erase
And we become lost in love's sweet grace

But though it may lead us astray
Love's beauty can't be denied or delayed
It's a force that we can't help but obey
A force that can light up our darkest days

So we may stumble and we may fall
As love takes us to places unknown to all
But in the end, we'll find our way
For love is worth the risk we take

For when we find someone who truly cares
Who takes our breath away, who makes us dare
We'll realize that love is more than just a distraction
It's a gift that fills us with joy and satisfaction

And so we embrace it, we hold it tight
For love is a beacon that shines so bright
A force that makes our hearts take flight
And guides us through the darkest of nights.
