Brutality.

sumu.

grief had metamorphosed me into

a replica of satan i never knew i'd be.

in the hands of the diabolical beast

i fall pray to his malice senselessly.

    (we're all
    capable of unfathomable
    horrors,
    each one of us
    its only that callous flipped coin
    in our circumstances
    and those choices we make, that
    defines
    our fight, to be more than the worst
    we can become;
    let not past mistakes, however
    brutal
    deny us access to that merciful
    Aurora
    new day in our life, and all those
    opportunities
    that await, offering us whatever
    better
    we may yet, make of our fallible
    lives...)
    stay strong! dear poet
    love that humble honesty
    and brave accountability
    in your poetic voice
