I Just Want to Know

Robert Isaacs Chiwala

Part One

*****

I'm not trying to increase the misconception

Only trying to clear this confusion

I don't want to encourage the abomination

Just trying to uproot it at bud

Men are sensitive to sight

Women are sensitive to touch

When men see, they react

When women are touched they act

A woman dancing in man's room

Expecting not to be touched

A man's temperature above normal

He end up caressing hers

Against her will

She claim it was done

After arousal

He claim it was out of control

I just want to know

Who started this mess?

When she's said to be raped

And him waiting to be locked up

Part Two

*****

You mean it is about the dressing

Or the presentation of outer world

I mean, exposed truths...

That lie hidden deep down in the hearts

Just waiting for ill-fated time

Association, mind imaginations

Oh rather desires -cravings

Implications thinking to take advantage

Disadvantaged, no strength to fight back

Giving up, spoiled, lost pride

Oh, like these defiled little souls-

A dressing too, perhaps poorly dressed?

Or the heart' exposed truths

Rotting behaviours, moral decadence

Immorality, wild humanity

Maybe perceptions, outlook, ego -

Associations and imaginations, setting up fire

That burns with a strong desire

Heart compelled, never to let it go

How intimidating will it be, without association and imaginations?

  • L. B. Mek

    its not that complicated
    merely barbaric, monstrosity
    warping
    proximity or smile
    dance or a short skirt
    drunk or asleep
and on, as excuses blurring fact
    veracity
is instinctive, no room to hide
    within futile defences;
    taking advantage of another
be it male, female or other
is a most vile crime of nature
    a window
    to showcase an individual's
    pathetic-ness
as a life's legacy of inhumane
    irrelevance...!
