'Thou wast not born for death, immortal bird!
No hungry generations tread thee down;
The voice I hear this passing night was heard
In ancient days by emperor and clown:'
from keats', 'ode to a nightingale'
Awesome response L.B.!
Good write CB.
Thanks oc.
This morning on my walk I heard a Cardinal calling. I stopped several times and waited, trying to locate the source. Then finally, high in a tree top, devoid of leaves,I found my little red feathered friend, and in the distance I heard its the call answered. You have spoken so eloquently "we may ever need all the help we may never understand". How simple the bird's call, and what might we learn if only we had the sense to listen. Beautiful dear poet!
Cardinals are so elegant! Being lost in the woods and surrounded by the sounds of the wilderness does throw us off and put us in perspective simultaneously and all at once as well! Thanks Bella.
Some people help the people. Quoting a brilliant mind...
And my own words... not exactly so, more or less...
Some people rape other people.
Some people act like animals or apes.
Some people control more or less...
To a certain level their inner-desires,
needs and sexuality.
Some people molest and rape, real live breathing children, that you can touch.
Some people do despicable things, dreadful, horrible things to other people.
Not all people are alike.
Not all people are the same.
Some people are inhumane.
Some people it's a shame to real people, to even call them people.
Some people deserve to be in real prison, behind bars.
Some people deserve, death penalty and capital punishment.
Many people deserve, true, real...
JUSTICE. Of course... people.
