Blood, we Drown in

Savasia.d

Oceans leaping and weeping

As I,

Stand in the water with no hands, no feet

for you, I cry

Build myself up as you break me down

I pick up the pieces

for this I try

I am made from your blood

Which we drown in,

Both you and I

But that never mattered to you

Broken, beaten and blistered

I should've seen the clue

These scars I have

They came from you

Unwanted, unneeded

I could never see a clear way through.

I would never understand why

my soul cries so loud for you

Then eventually I had to say goodbye.

These words to you, for you?

No, for I.

I cry for your escape.

This time there is no lie.
