  really good concept...i want to see this as a longer poem! i can definitely envision the type of relationship you are trying to portray, and this would be so great if you took this idea and turned it into an entire narrative using figurative language. (which you have really good command over!)
  by the way, i have a poem w a similar concept up right now, its called "the confectionary of a lover". i'd love if you took a second to read it and lmk what you think 🙂

    that's okay, for me its the opposite case, i tend to overwrite! i really like how you were able to capture all of that into a few short, beautiful lines though.
