You render a new meaning to my feckless life

Neera Kankra

Whenever you feast your eyes deep inside me

You caress my heart and

You render a new meaning to my feckless life.

Whenever you confide in me

And entrust me

You render a new meaning to my feckless life.

Whenever you consecrate me

With your amorous gestures

You render a new meaning to my feckless life.

Whenever you foster my subsistence

You emancipate my soul and

You render a new meaning to my feckless life.

Whenever you give purport to my birth

You give me life and

You render a new meaning to my feckless life.

Whenever I am befuddled and go astray

Your love unearths me and

You render a new meaning to my feckless life.

Whenever I am abandoned

You satiate me and

You render a new meaning to my feckless life.

Whenever I am unsighted

You facilitate me with a vision and

You render a new meaning to my feckless life.

Whenever I am wrecked and shattered

You make me intact again and

You render a new meaning to my feckless life.

Whenever I feel diffident

Your aplomb encourages me and

You render a new meaning to my feckless life.

Whenever I tumble you elevate me

And your assiduity makes me superfluous and

You render a new meaning to my feckless life

Whenever I give up the ghost and start perishing

You give me sprightliness and fortitude and

You render a new meaning to my feckless life.

Whenever I am erroneous

You are so veracious and

You render a new meaning to my feckless life.

Whenever I have no hymn to cantillate

You are a descant and

You render a new meaning to my feckless life.

Whenever you mop up and whisk the nastiest out of me

And reckon the best out of me giving your best to me

You render a new meaning to my feckless life.

Whenever I flunk to empathize myself

You make me cognizant of the fact that

You know me more than I do myself

And I have no existence without you as

You render a new meaning to my feckless life.

Whenever you take everything I was

And make me what I am

I revere you with all I am

And feel so much gratified that words fail to express

The exorbitance of the cacoethes of my love as

You render a new meaning to my feckless life.
