Laid to Rest

John_Bingham

They laid to rest his weary soul,

They laid to rest hers too,

The powers that looked down on them decided what to do.

Awaking in the brightest light

and standing in the sky

Eternity awaited them

The soul will never die

Then judgement rained around them,

and their lives were played to all

And the one who was found wanted

began their final fall.

One wandered to the ever green,

One wandered through the fire

and whilst ones family met them

the others flames grew higher

And whilst one saw eternity

as all the ever wanted

The other found eternity

In always being hunted

And one sat down and looked across

Eternity of favor

Whilst flesh peeled of the burning souls That Lucifer would savor

A life lived well provides a soul

with eternity of kindness

A life lived fast provides a soul

Of torment, pain and blindness.
