I hate poetry

-The poet in me

Sometimes when I read poetry I get angry

And there are times where I might not be so mad

I may cherish every moment that's made me happy

But I really hate the ones that make me sad

I sometimes love to read a real nice story

A personal favorite are those that are told in rhyme

And I thoroughly enjoy the tales from yesteryear

But I hate the ones that ends with someone cryin'

I love to read any poem that leaves me smiling

And I long to find those poems which tell a tale

But I hate poetry that tries to awake my demons

I hate poetry that takes me back to time I spent in hell

Keep on going. You have read 30 here and a way to go yet - but there's much more out there than here - you have a lifetime of reding ahead of you - happy times...
    Neat write, BTW

    You're so right,

  • BlessedbyGod

I must apologize if any of my work contributed to this, I tend to write with what is in my heart at the time
