MY WAY

That writer Bree

I’m beginning to understand that I am the way,

My head is my way, and my head is in my way,

I’m beginning to understand how I stand in my way,

It was me all along, I knew the way.

So much appreciation, so much expectation,

The how, the where’s and the what they expect,

So, I smile and say yes. Except!

It’s you who should accept my way!

It’s easy to think it’s me,

It’s easier to blame me for my way,

The path of least resistance they say,

It’s not me, It’s not you, It’s the way.
